Grandma's House

I love this picture, taken in front of my parent's house. I love the lamp shining over the kitchen table through the window, as well as the rocking chairs on the front porch.
My favorite picture!

We spent the weekend at my parent's house. The kids love going there! There is an old tree house that Dan and I built when we were kids. There is the other grandma and grandpa next door that always have an endless supply of ice cream and pepsi! Not to mention plenty of room to run, a dog to maul and lots of baby kitties next door at Dan and Brooke's!

We had a nice weekend and enjoyed hanging out and celebrating Shellie's graduation. Hard to believe that she's already old enough to graduate! (Maybe the shock comes from realizing that I'm much older than I think I am!!).
Jerrick showing his 'owie' from taking James, the dog, for a walk. He wanted to walk so fast he pulled Jerrick to the ground.....
Cannon having a great time running around the yard.

Cannon and a Marker

Cannon had a great time detailing himself today. I thought he was innocently in the living room watching Dora. I was sitting at the kitchen table and didn't even think twice about him doing something naughty - he was still singing along with the show, so it wasn't quiet, and I was right there......

And this is what I found. I had to laugh and he thought it was great to 'show off' all of his decorated areas! I figured it could have been worse and luckily it was a crayola washable marker, so everything just wiped right off.

Easter

This is one of the first years Jared has dyed Easter eggs with us. We all had a great time and used 4 dozen eggs. With 6 kids, you need a lot of eggs to dye.....

This year we are excited that Monica was able to find and eat her Easter basket! No basket was lost to hungry dogs, or other animals!! :) The kids had a great time looking for their baskets. The best was how often they came to ask for 'hints'. They only looked for about 10 minutes before they wanted a hint, then in another 5 minutes, they needed another hint. The kids were all sugared up by the time we went to church. It was an exciting three hours! Next year I'm going to have to remember - no sugar before church.....
