Frozen Corndogs and other stuff . . .

Last night I wanted to grab a quick picture of Cannon - since he's the big 4 months old and Ryker was eating his standard frozen corndog - yes, I did say frozen. I figured this was a great moment to capture one of his strange eating choices!! Whenever he is hungry and can't get a peanut butter and jelly, he'll grab a corndog out of the freezer and munch away. Gross, yes! I always ask him if he wants me to warm it up - and occasionally he wants it warmed up, but most of the time, he eats it frozen. Who knows why, it's probably in the mysterious realm of why peanut butter and jelly sandwiches can sustain life. Blah . . .

Well, my sweet baby is officially 4 months old. Time sure flies by fast. He is smiling and laughing so much now! It's so much fun! He also loves to cuddle - some nights that's all we do. Sit on the couch and cuddle (perhaps a little tv watching, or nintendo ds playing goes on too). We watched a special on the lady that just had 8 babies - there are days one is plenty of work - I certainly can't imagine 8.

So, last night we got this insane amount of snow - since it never snows in Wendover (at least snow that stays for too long) and wow! This was a picture that I took this morning of our driveway (that's Jaxon next to the mustang). The snowdrifts were incredible!! Jaxon, Jared and I shoveled the driveway tonight. The large pile in the middle of the driveway took forever to move to the lawn - but now we have quite the corner pile just waiting for a snowcave. It remindes me of good old snowy Logan!! I certainly don't miss shoveling snow - it took about an hour and I'm sure tomorrow I will be very sore. I'm just thinking about all of the weight watchers activity points that I earned. Too bad I'm blowing it since we're going out to the Steakhouse for our Valentines Day dinner. That deep fried lobster is just too wonderful to pass up. The real work starts tomorrow. I've just reached my 10 percent (20 pounds - only 40 more to go) - this is the one definate negative of having a baby!! I wish I was one of those women that walk out of the hopsital in their pre-pregnancy jeans. I walk out in full blown maternity clothes. I'm just happy these days that those maternity clothes are put away!

I think that's all the updates. We're ready for Spring! (and an elf to come in and do the laundry - do leprechans fold clothes?) - we have one that comes on St. Patricks day and leaves us his gold coins, of course we leave him lots of pennies (and sometimes dollars - in case someone leaves out their wallet) - that story to come!! I've got a dinner to get ready for!! 14 Valentine's Days and six kids later - where does the time go . . . good thing I still love him!!
